COLUMBIA - The three Democratic candidates running for the 25th District State Representative seat faced off Friday.

All three agreed on the need to reform the current education and health care systems. Higher education was also part of the discussion. Though they mainly agreed on the issues, each had a reason he or she was the best candidate for the job.

"I'm in a unique position to talk about health care and to be a patient advocate," Bob Pund said.

"I know the issues and i know the people and I will be a strong voice for this district," Mary Still explained.

"I've had the opportunity to do a variety of things and build on my base of knowledge," said Sean Spence.

About 100 people heard the candidates speak. If you would like to learn more about each candidate, links to their campaign sites are to the left.
