School Board Raises Teacher Pay

COLUMBIA - The Columbia Board of Education approved pay increases for teachers at Monday night's meeting.

The school board's decision raises the district's minimum starting salary to $33,000. Another proposal raised each teacher's base salary by $1,000 a year.
