Your View looks at how the media are covering these town hall style debates on health care.
First the Democrats' raucous town hall health care meetings. Now word this week that Republicans are considering similiar gatherings as well. These lively discussions on health care are sure to continue.
When it comes to the media's coverage of health care forums, however, one KOMU-8 manager questions whether the national media are covering more of the circus and less of the actual show?
"There's two stories at these town hall meetings. One is really easy to tell. One is really hard to tell," KOMU-8 managing editor Randy Reeves said.
"They've been almost myopically focused on spectacle," MU School of Journalism professor Charles Davis said. "I'm all for dissent...but that's not all that happened at those meetings."
