In This week's Your View, KOMU's Sarah Hill explains how some people had a problem with the station's coverage of Governor Blunt's State of the State.
Some viewers mistakenly thought KOMU cameras were shooting the Governor's address.
We got this email from John Hardin who wrote: "I was greatly disappointed to see that KOMU was unable to afford a wider lens for the camera used in the House chamber during the Governor's State of the State address. Every remark made by the Governor appeared to have the total support of all of the Representatives as the view you were able to show always showed all of the Representatives standing and applauding."
"We got the feed from the state of Missouri and quite frankly I was surprised, too. In fact, in the future I think if we can't get a feed that shows both sides of the aisle, then we'll probably have to shoot that to ourselves," said KOMU Managing Editor Randy Reeves.
And during the speech you may have noticed KOMU clearly labeled the video and credited it as state of Missouri video just as we also clearly labeled the video source of the Democratic response.
