Burglaries In Area Churches |

BOONE COUNTY - Burglars hit three area churches in the Midway area and on Route Z.
According to the Boone County Sheriff's Department, on Sunday, officers arrived at Grandview Baptist Church on North Route Z after a door window was broken into and a small amount of cash and candy was taken.
According to a release, two churches, Locust Grove Methodist church on Locust Grove Road and Midway Heights Baptist Church on Rolling Hills Road reported burglaries on Monday. No items were reported missing from either church, but both had minor property damage.
