MONTGOMERY CITY - Bryan Tullock, 37, pleaded guilty to all 11 counts charged against him.

In June 2006, police pulled over Tullock for running a stop sign on Route 19 in Montgomery City. When the police officer approached his vehicle, Tullock opened fire on the officer.

Police say Tullock shot Patrol Officer Brandon LyBarger four times. While LyBarger's partner attempted to help him, Tullock fled around the corner to a mobile home park.

In the mobile home park, police say Tullock shot Ricky Fry and shot and killed Heidi Casagrand.

Montgomery City Police Chief Phil Ahern said that he was satisfied with the charges against Tullock and that he pleaded guilty.

Ahern was at Thursday's hearing and said that when Tullock received his sentencing, he showed no emotion. The family of the victims were in attendance as well.

The judge sentenced Tullock to life without parole for first degree murder, and an additional eight life sentences for assaulting law enforcement officers, first degree assault, and five counts of armed criminal action. The judge also gave Tullock the maximum, 15 years each, for the charge of burglary and attempted assault.

Bryan Tullock is not expected to be released from prison for any reason during his lifetime.
