COLUMBIA- Saturday was difficult for Missouri football, as the Tigers were thrashed by a dominant Texas Longhorns squad 41-7. Today, Missouri players and coaches talked about how to recover from the loss.

Things have been rough for the Missouri Tigers the past few weeks.

First, they blow a lead to Nebraska, lose a close one to Oklahoma State and then get blown out by Texas.

Now for the good news: the tough part of the schedule is over.

After giving up 41 points to the Longhorns on Saturday night the Tigers enter the heart of their Big 12 North schedule.

The Tigers take on the Colorado Buffaloes Saturday and with four of their five remaining games against Big 12 competition there's still a chance for the Tigers.

"That is an eye-opener to a lot of people on the team. It's like man, we lost three games, how are we going to overcome these things? We still have all of our goals in front of us. We can still get the Big 12 North Championship. We can still go to a bowl game. We can still do all of these things," said sophomore tailback De'Vion Moore.

As we take a look at the Big 12 North standings, Kansas State is the surprise team toping the standings at 3-1.

A whole host of teams comes next with two losses.

The Tigers of course are sitting at 0-3 in the conference but they know despite their record, they're still in the hunt.

"We'll put that out there, let guys know what's going but that won't be what we preach at practice each and everyday, we'll just preach going to work and making sure we're practicing the best we can," said senior linebacker Sean Weatherspoon.
