OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Missouri ended its season at 50-12. The loss at Georgia is a story of missed opportunities.

The Tigers strand six runners while Georgia took advantage and got hits just when they needed them.

"The thing that Georgia did well today was every time they got an opportunity they made a click, and they got three runs off five hits. That is what you call timely hitting right there. And so they just executed and we tip our caps and wish them well," said Ehren Earleywine, Missouri Softball Coach.

"We got a lot of little pop flies. We were getting jammed. We knew what we were going to see it was just a matter of doing it, seeing it and hitting it. We just didn't do that," said Andee Allen, Missouri Sr. Infielder.

"We weren't making adjustments to the pitcher. She was jamming us a lot, so that one inning we rallied a little bit when Marla got the big hit, but it wasn't enough," said Micaela Minner, Missouri Sr. Utility Player.

"We have a lot coming back and we have a pretty young team. And I'm excited for the future and I think we can only build on this experience," said Marla Schweisberger, Missouri Soph. Utility Player.

"Definitely positive I mean we played well all year long and ending here is not a bad thing," said Chelsea Thomas, Missouri Fr. Pitcher

The Tigers first trip to the Women's College World Series in 15 years ended after only two games but plenty of experience about what it takes to get there.
