OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Don't forget about the accomplishments. The Missouri Tigers won the Big 12 Tournament, a regional and knocked off number two UCLA.

But the Cinderella of the College World Series leaves early.

"We are playing with a lot of girls who weren't recruited by too many schools. And I'm very proud of the job that they have done in over achieving really. Nobody would expect a group of kids who weren't recruited like they were to be able to make it this far," said Ehren Earleywine, Missouri Softball Coach.

Despite the accomplishments, it's tough on the seniors. Especially Micaela Minner who finished off her six year career by getting a hit on a broken leg.

"It's kind of hard not to cry even though I have been crying. I'm happy to be here. We gave it our best maybe we weren't playing our best but we got here and we tried as hard as we could," said Micaela Minner, Missouri Sr. Utility Player.

"The thing that I hope is that the team that comes back is that they learn something they learn how to overcome some of things we didn't overcome today so they can be a little more successful next time they come which I hope is next year I'm sure it will be," said Andee Allen, Missouri Sr. Infielder.

A lot of that will depend on the right arm of freshman Chelsea Thomas who is looking to add a rise ball for next season.

"Learned a lot of lessons with the great teams that we played this year and I think it is going to prepare for the things I need to work on this summer to get better and to get back here next year and make some noise," said Chelsea Thomas, Missouri Fr. Pitcher.

"Sometimes you just pick up one thing and when you get to this level. If you can just add one thing to your repertoire it makes you a better player. So i think it's what they do individually as players. They just kind of look around oh that is what it is suppose to look like. Try and take the next step and see if you can get there too," said Earleywine.

There aren't too many more steps to take. Just some more wins and a trophy at the Women's College World Series.
