FULTON - Monday was a day of sorrow for most Americans, but one Fulton couple mixed their grief with joy.
The Stacks attended a memorial service at the Fulton Senior Center. There were songs, special speakers and words of inspiration.
"It just shocked us all so much. One of the people who was gonna sing with us said, 'I don't even feel like singing now.' And I said, 'This is when we really need to sing," said Senior Center Council President June O'Neal.
Although the date took on a new meaning five years ago, the Stack's said Sept. 11 will always be a day of love and joy to them.
