COLUMBIA - As the clock struck twelve at Memorial Union on the MU campus, the bells rang out for those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.
"We needed to get it done 'cuz we didn't have much time left so we were out in the rain," said Tyler Mutrix of the Mizzou College Republicans.
The rain couldn't keep the students from honoring those who died.
"We were out here putting in the flags and the flags started coming apart, and it was kinda messy," Mutrix said.
It's the dedication of those who choose to remember that continue to honor those who died.
