Police arrested and charged Aaron Michael Fisher with Class A Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree.

The Miller County sheriff's department arrested Aaron Fisher of Brumley. Fisher recently moved from Michigan to his parents' home in Brumley. Investigators report Fisher was living with his mother, but recently assaulted her, causing her to flee the state.

The Miller County prosecuting attorney Matt Howard tells KOMU 8 News he's charging Fisher with two counts of Class A felony statutory sodomy on Fisher's five-month-old daughter.

Investigation reports say Fisher admitted to watching a pornographic movie when he decided to sexually abuse his daughter.

On Wednesday, University Hospital in Columbia admitted his five-month-old daughter for emergency surgery and care due to internal bleeding and a fractured skull as a result of blunt forced trauma.

Fisher is currently held in the Miller County jail.

Miller county sheriff William Abbott refused to answer any questions about the investigation.
