COLUMBIA - Illinois Senator Dick Durbin is making his way through Missouri to talk about one of the biggest topics in this year's election.
The Senator, who is the national co-chair of the Obama campaign, is on a Mid-West tour talking about healthcare and employment. On Sunday afternoon, Durbin spoke outside of Boone Hospital about the differences between the McCain and Obama health care policies.
Durbin touched on issues like insurance, privatization, and accessibility.
"We live in a country where we can mandate that everyone accused of a crime has a lawyer, we ought to at least guarantee that everyone sick has access to a good doctor," said Durbin.
700,000 Missourians do not have insurance.
