BOULDER- It was homecoming in Colorado, but Missouri was the team that enjoyed this Halloween!

An easy first drive of the game ended with a touchdown run by Derrick Washington for the Tigers, and it was only the beginning.

The success continued on the next drive for the Tigers when Blaine Gabbert passed to Danario Alexander for a 73 yard touchdown. After these two 80 yard drives Missouri led 14-0.

Later in the first quarter,  De'Vion Moore rushed it 30 yards to the CU 2 yard line, his longest of the season. On the next play, Gabbert passed to Alexander to put Mizzou up 21-0.

Missouri outgained Colorado 250 to 26 yards in the first quarter.

During the first drive of the second quarter, Gabbert passed to Jerrell Jackson, who made an incredible one-handed catch at the Missouri 22. Later in the drive Jimmy Smith intercepted Gabbert at the CU 10 yard line.

With the ball back in Colorado's hands, Hansen fumbled on the next play, and Jacquies Smith recovered for the Tigers. Missouri settled for a a 29 yard field goal by Grant Ressel to go up 24-0.

The Tigers got a safety Jarrell Harrison sacked Hansen in the end zone to put Mizzou up 26-0.

Tigers added to the lead when Jacquies Smith, a Missouri defensive lineman, scored a 24 yard touchdown on a fake a field goal.  It put Mizzou on top 33-0.

Colorado scored its first points of the game with a 48 yard field goal by Aric Goodman with one minute left in the second quarter. This made the score 33-3 Missouri, and broke a streak of 132 consecutive points scored by Missouri on Colorado since 2007.

Colorado started off the second half with a Rodney Stewart 3 yard touchdown to make the score 33-10 Missouri.

Later in the 3rd quarter, Mizzou caused another Hansen fumble. Robert Steeples recovered.  

But Colorado's Benjamin Burney picked off Gabbert and went 78 yards for a touchdown.  It closed the game to 33-17.

At the start of the fourth quarter Missouri's Sean Weatherspoon stuffed Colorado on a fourth and one deep in Tiger territory.  

Missouri added a Grant Ressel 33 yard field goal to take a 36-17 lead. 

Aldon Smith led the Missouri defense with 4 sacks in the contest and helped the Tigers hold on for a 36-17 win. 

Mizzou will play Baylor at Faurot Field next Saturday at 1pm.
