Howard County Prosecuting Attorney, Mason Gebhardt, said friends and family of Kelly will see justice served.

"It's a proud fact that anyone convicted of murder in Howard County never walks the streets again," Gebhardt said.

Kelly's friends and family are mourning the death of someone they described as a loyal friend.

"She was a good person," friend Jennifer Blackwell said. "She would give anyone a place to live, she would give you the clothes off her back and she would give you her last dollar."
