South Padre Problems
Missouri college kids are headed off to Spring Break in less than two weeks. Spring Breakers planning on going to South Padre Island will not to go into nearby Mexico like they used to.

Bears Not Attacking Dogs
A Missouri Conservation biologist does not believe a black bear is attacking dogs in Franklin County.
The biologist says bears do not attack dogs when they come out of hibernation.
He says they usually eat berries and acorns.
A veterinarian who treated the dogs thought they had been attacked by a bear.
Student Wins Large Scholarship
A follow-up on a young man from Jefferson City who's going to go along ways when it comes to science.
Evan Mirts was featured a week ago on the KOMU School Report.
Mirts is the recipient of a $20,000 scholarship at the Intel National Science Talent Search in Washington, D.C.
He was a top-10 finisher among 1,700 students.
Mirts' research used a microscope to take pictures of plant life that had never been done before.
