COLUMBIA - The Columbia Public School Board met Monday to approve its 2010 budget.
The proposed budget cuts came from three main areas. About one million dollars were cut from school programming. Close to four million dollars were cut from staff and the rest of the cuts will come from re-organization. The new budget is five million dollars smaller than last year's budget.
