A non-profit organization called "Columbia Tomorrow" read an article about Hindman in Parade Magazine and decided to fly him out to their city. President of the organization, Jud Malone, says he hopes to learn more about how to make the east coast city more bike friendly.

While in Maryland, Hindman will meet with city officials and community members to talk about Mid-Missouri's attempt at being bike friendly as well as some challenges that Maryland can learn from.
