FORT LEONARD WOOD - While practice may not always make perfect, Missouri Guard soldiers know it does help.

Soldiers from a military police company gathered at Fort Leonard Wood Monday to train before deployment to Kosovo. They learned how to enter buildings, drive military vehicles, and teamwork. Soldiers said this is important since the people they train with are the same people they will be deployed with.

"As we keep working together, we become more of a group, and we are able to work together and provide better strength among us," said Justin Lawzano, soldier.

There were 110 soldiers at the training, all of whom will be deployed in Kosovo for about one year.
