KOMU has a compiled a comprehensive list of all road closures from excessive flooding in Mid-Missouri.

Boone County

  • Blackfoot Road at the Columbia/Boone County line, barricades are up
  • Stone Drive, at Silver Fork Creek - Boone Co Public Works notified
  • State Highway CC at Tri-City Lake Road, barricades are up
  • 20700 Block of Farwest School Road - Boone Co Public Works notified
  • 2000 Block of Friendship Church Road - Boone Co Public Works notified
  • Wilcox Rd, just off Rt E - Boone Co Public Works notified
  • 900 Block of Strawn Road N
  • Akeman Bridge Rd at Perche Creek (4200 block)
  • Dodd Rd N at Silver Fork Creek (13,000 block)
  • State Route ZZ is closed

Miller County

  • St. Elizabeth R IV released early at 12:12 today due to flooding.

Howard County

  • State Route Z is closed (flooding reported beginning 3 miles before Highway 87 N and lasts 2.5 miles)

Camden County

  • State Route BB is closed (flooding reported approximately 3.5 miles before Highway 7 N)
  • State Route H is closed (flooding reported beginning at Route T N and ending 1.3 miles after Route T S)

Phelps County

  • State Route C is closed (flooding reported 1 mile after Interstate 44 W)
  • State Route CC is closed (flooding reported 1 mile before Highway 63 N)
  • State Route E is closed (flooding reported beginning at Highway 63 N and ending at Route A S)

Benton County

  • State Route DD is closed due to overflow from Knobby Creek (flooding reported nearly 5 miles before Highway 7 N)
  • State Route V is closed due to overflow from Deer Creek (flooding reported 3.3 miles after Route M S)
  • State Route WW is closed due to overflow from Big Buffalo Creek and Archer Branch (flooding reported beginning 2.5 miles after Route B N and lasts 0.5 miles)

Pulaski County

  • State Route H is closed (flooding reported nearly 2 miles after I-44 E)

Montgomery County

  • State Route J is closed (flooding reported 1.3 miles after Highway 19 N)

Saline County

  • State Route 127 is closed (flooding reported nearly 1 mile after I-70 W and lasts one mile)
  • State Route VV is closed (flooding reported nearly 2 miles after I-70 W and lasts 0.5 miles)

Monroe County

  • State Route A is closed (flooding reported beginning at Highway 24 E and ending 2 miles after Route DD E)
  • State Route J is closed (flooding reported beginning at Highway 15 N and ending 2 miles before Route Y W)

Chariton County

  • State Route E is closed (flooding reported beginning 1 mile after Highway 11 S and ending 0.5 miles before Route JJ N)
  • State Route NN is closed (flooding reported beginning 1.5 miles after Highway 129 S and lasts 2.5 miles)
  • State Route O is closed (flooding reported beginning 4.5 miles before Highway 129 N and ending 0.5 miles before Highway 129 N)

Extra information:

MODOT officials are continually checking road conditions to see if more roads need to be closed or even re-opened. The blocked off roads have been an inconvenience to many drivers. KOMU will continue to update this list as MODOT assesses road conditions.

Parts of the state can expect the rainfall totals to reach five inches by tomorrow.
