FORT WORTH, Texas - Standout MU pitcher Aaron Crow has signed a contract with the Fort Worth Cats, an unaffiliated minor league team in the American Association.
The announcement was posted on the Cats' website, fwcats.com.
Crow was drafted ninth overall by Washington in MLB's June draft, but has not yet signed with the Nationals. The deadline to sign players from June's draft is midnight on Aug. 15.
Crow, the Big 12 pitcher of the year, posted a 13-0 record for the Tigers with 127 strikeouts and a 2.35 ERA in 2008.
