JEFFERSON CITY - The Associated Press reports Congressman Kenny Hulshof will announce Tuesday that he is running for governor.
The AP learned the news early Tuesday morning.
Two other Republicans have already thrown their hats into the ring since Governor Blunt announced he is not seeking re-election: Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder and Treasurer Sarah Steelman. Attorney General Jay Nixon is the only Democrat in the race so far. Representatives for Secretary of State Robin Carnahan has said she is thinking about it.
