COLUMBIA - The keynote speaker for MU Health Sciences Library's 'Changing the Faces of Medicine' exhibit will speak on campus twice Thursday.

The traveling exhibit highlights women's influence on the medical field, and will be on campus through next week.

Gloria Wilder is a pediatrician and a nationally known expert on poverty and economic segregation in healthcare. Wilder was not only the first in her family to graduate college, but also the first to graduate from high school. Since then, she founded Core Health, a company that assists healthcare providers in underserved populations.

Her first presentation will be at 1 p.m. at the Monsanto Auditorium in the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center. She will also speak at 7 p.m. in the Neff Hall auditorium.

Both events are free and open to the public.
