Watch this video to experience an Honor Flight.

"Show Me Honor"...This video was originally broadcast in January, 2009.  It was a special live, half-hour edition of Sarah's Stories broadcast from Columbia's VFW Post 280.  After this broadcast, mid-Missourians donated more than $19, 000 to help finance Central Missouri's first Honor Flight to Washington, DC.

Central Missouri Honor Flight is an organization that seeks to fly mid-MO veterans to see THEIR memorials in Washington, DC.  Priority for these free flights is given to WWII veterans…some of whom may be terminally ill.  Donations to Central MO Honor Flight are tax deductible and should be made in care of VFW Post 280.  The public can “adopt a veteran” for $250.  Donations from WWII veterans while appreciated will not be accepted…the reason being our WWII veterans have given enough.  Hard copy veteran or guardian applications can be picked up at the TV station, or downloaded and printed off from this website.  To contact Central MO Honor Flight, email centralmissourihonorflight@yahoo.com or call the TV station at (573) 882-8888.
