JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Governor's race continues to shuffle like a deck of cards.
On Tuesday, congressman Kenny Hulshof entered the race, and on Wednesday another candidate bowed out.
Speaker Rod Jetton made it very clear that if Hulshof decided to run for governor, that he simply would not. Jetton thinks Hulshof is the best man for the job.
Lt. Governor Peter Kinder and Sarah Steelman joined Hulshof on the Republican side in the race to become governor. Attorney General Jay Nixon is currently the only Democrat in the race. Jetton believes this might be the final list.
"It's never going to be too late until March 26, but to have a credible shot of it, I think we know who our candidates are going to be," Jetton said.
Jetton said he firmly stands behind Hulshof and his campaign.
