NEW FLORENCE - Three people are in the hospital after a car chase ended in a head on collision near the New Florence and Hermann exit on I-70.
Law enforcement was pursuing a car with two people from Pennsylvania.
The car then started traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of I-70 at Highway 19. They eventually struck an oncoming car.
Officials took the 13-year-old occupant of the oncoming car to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Witnesses say an ambulance and helicopter picked up the victims. Witnesses also report the car that caused the accident was involved in a police chase through Montgomery County.
