JEFFERSON CITY - The Jefferson City Police Department is investigating two related robberies that occured on Sunday evening.
The first robbery occured around 7:30 p.m. at the Family Dollar store and the second occured around 11:30 p.m. at the Best Western hotel. The suspect had a semi-automatic pistol and is described as male wearing a gray jacket and black pants, according to the police department press release. No injuries occured in the robberies.
