COLUMBIA - Health Care for America Now, an organization committed to quality health care for all Americans, attacked 9th Congressional District candidate Blaine Luetkemeyer in an ad released Wednesday.
Luetkemeyer's campaign questions the credibility of this organization because of it's involvement with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. The group is currently under investigation for voter fraud. Luetkemeyer's campaign says it is taking a more bipartisan approach to health care.
"Senator Bond, Senator McCaskill, have joined with us on this plan," said Kyle Robertson of Luetkemeyer for Congress. "We need a bipartisan solution for this healthcare issue, because that's what voters demand. They don't want to be one-sided with extremist issues, extremist issues of groups that clearly don't represent mainstream America."
"We're working as a collective voice to provide affordable, accessible health care to Americans," said Jane Whitesides of Health Care for America Now.
The campaign added it is in the process of bringing legal action against the organization for defamation.
