TUSCUMBIA - Four days after the death of a 20-month-old little girl, one person is under arrest.

According to a press release from the Miller County Sheriff's Department, Roshell D. Johnson, 32, is currently being held at the Miller County Adult Detention Center on $300,000 bond. She is charged with one count of murder in the second degree, a second count of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, and a third count of abuse of a child in the first degree.

Saturday, Sheriff William M. Abbott announced that an arrest warrant was secured for the Brumely resident for the murder of a 20-month-old female child. The child lived in Johnson's residence. According to investigators, the girl died after Johnson assaulted her. She died Wednesday night at the University of Missouri Medical Center.

The investigation is currently ongoing at this time.
