ST. LOUIS (AP) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama told a rally crowd last night that he will work with them to remake the country if selected.
The Illinois senator said Tuesday's primaries are a unique opportunity to change American history. He spoke to a crowd of roughly 20,000 people in St. Louis. He's facing Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton for a shot at the Democratic nomination. Clinton is campaigning in the St. Louis area today. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, was in Columbia and Springfield yesterday making his case for why people should support his wife. He highlighted her experience, and said she'll be ready to lead as soon as she enters the White House.
