JEFFERSON CITY (AP) - Voter interest appears high for Tuesday's presidential primaries in Missouri. But the candidates' interest in the state, particularly among Republicans, seemed comparatively low until this weekend. Part of the reason may be the high-risk, high-reward nature of Missouri's Republican primary. The Missouri GOP will use a statewide winner-take-all approach in Tuesday's election. Only one candidate will receive all 58 of Missouri's delegates to the Republican National Convention. Some Missouri Republicans had expected to see more appearances from GOP presidential candidates given the high reward. But that hasn't happened. Following the Jan. 3rd Iowa caucuses, no Republican candidate came to Missouri until this past week.
