MARYLAND HEIGHTSÂ - Romney talked politics and game strategy with his biggest supporters at a Super Bowl party on Sunday.
It has all the dressing of any Super Bowl party: chips and dip, good friends, beer, and of course the big game.
But this event was reserved for a private party. He was surrounded by his biggest Missouri supporters, Gov. Blunt and Jim Talent, as they watched the game.
Other fans waited for who they consider their key player in the presidential election.
"I think Mitt has a real positive outlook, a positive view of our country," said Trish Munson, a Romney supporter. "I hear him speak and I feel good about the nation."
Munson looked at the presidential line-up before making a decision.
"We went and saw McCain the other day, and last night we went and saw Barack Obama, and this morning we went to see Hillary," said Munson.
Like the other candidates, Romney stopped in Missouri, hoping generate more support before Super Tuesday.
"Missouri is critical in this race; if Missouri comes for me that would be an enormous victory," said Romney. "It's a winner-take-all state and if conservatives here come together and get behind the candidate who can win the nomination, then we'll take this state."
Romney says Super Tuesday will prove to be his big play, and Missouri is key to the election.
Some supporters said they were surprised Romney campaigned today, considering that his favorite team, the Patriots, played in the Super Bowl.
