MARYLAND HEIGHTS (AP) - Heading into Super Tuesday, GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney says the race is for the "heart and soul of the Republican Party," and he's the true conservative in the race. The former Massachusetts governor was in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights Sunday for a rally, where he predicted he'd win on Tuesday. He was joined by former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, Missouri Governor Matt Blunt, House Speaker Rod Jetton, and former U.S. Senator Jim Talent. Santorum and other surrogates for Romney say that Senator John McCain is outside the GOP mainstream. McCain has said Republican Party conservatives are convinced that he's best equipped to lead this country.
