ST. LOUIS- While the Missouri River is being raised by the Army Corp of Engineers, mother nature could cause other rivers across Missouri to rise in the next few days. Forecaster are calling for more rain during the next several days. Renewing concerns in the flood-weary portions of the state. Torrential rains last week caused flash flooding. Then major flooding along several Missouri rivers. The Meramec River region was especially hard hit. Residents there are still sorting through the mess left by the flood.
