Man Injured in Accident on I-70

COLUMBIA - Fire fighters responded to I-70 East just west of Providence Road for an extrication accident Friday evening.

The driver of the car, 43-year-old Larry D Shinn of Columbia was found injured and trapped inside the vehicle. Fire fighters freed the occupant from the vehicle and Shinn was transported to University Hospital with moderate injuries.
