COLUMBIA - The unofficial results show Obama winning Missouri by a narrow margin.

All eyes were on Obama Tuesday night at the Blue Note as results started to pour in. Though not all were confident Obama would take Missouri, they all agreed he's still in the presidential race for the long haul.

Many supporters talked about the Illinois senator's qualities as a leader, not a typical politician.

"He really speaks to people in a way that makes him more than just like another politician," said Mizzou for Obama President Glenn Rehn. "I think he's something special, and that's been recognized, and hopefully the results tonight are going to reflect that."

There were about half a dozen Clinton fans who turned out for the event at Boone's Tavern in Columbia. They cheered with each increasing poll return percentage and continuously asked for updates on the results.

Betty Wilson spearheaded a local group whose main goal is to see Clinton as president.

"I'm anxious. I'm very anxious," said Wilson. "I've been waiting for this since May."

Almost 48 percent of registered Boone County voters turned out to cast a ballot on Super Tuesday.
