COLUMBIA - Presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani made stops across Missouri to woo Republican voters.

Most of the other Republican presidential candidates are campaigning in Iowa, a state that along with New Hampshire and South Carolina has never figured prominently in Giuliani's strategy. He says his focus is on states that vote later. Plane trouble delayed an afternoon appearance by Giuliani in Columbia, where an overflow crowd of several hundred supporters waited in a hotel ballroom while the candidate drove across the state.

Before Columbia, Giuliani met with supporters in Kansas City. The candidate challenged the notion that Missouri was not an early-voting state and equated his strategy to a baseball game: That whoever has the most runs at the end of the game wins. Missouri voters head to the polls in the Super Tuesday, February 5th.
