COLUMBIA - It's been around for 20 years and they're still creating beautiful works of fabric.
Saturday marked the first day of the Weavers and Spinners' Guild Holiday Exhibition and Sale. At least 20 guild members displayed and sold their artwork at the Boone County Historical Society.
Jenny Sennott said she caught the weaving bug 30 years ago and says it is very relaxing.
"There are weavers, spinners, people selling knitting, crocheting, hand-made paper, jewelry, beautiful garments," Sennott said. "If it is fiber-related, there is a little bit of everything."
Sennott said her 12-year-old son is actually joining her for a demonstration later. He's been weaving since he was 6-years-old.
The exhibition will continue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Boone County Historical Society.
