COLUMBIA - Parents of Rock Bridge Elementary students are worried about their children's safety this summer because a fireworks stand is next to the school.
"I don't think it should be open during school hours," said Magaret Coats, parent of a student.
Other parents said the tent is misleading.
Tom McCray said, "When the kids come to school, they're asking, 'What's that? What's that?' because it looks like a circus tent, you know, but in fact it's explosives."
The owner has moved the tent about 50 yards back from the school. School officials said they had no warning the fireworks stand would be near their building.
