WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama is coming to Kansas City for a town hall meeting at an airline facility that may slash hundreds of jobs. He also plans to make a satellite appearance at the Democratic National Convention live from Kansas City on Monday night after his wife makes a speech. He plans to watch Michelle Obama's address from a home in Kansas City On Tuesday, the Illinois senator will discuss economic issues at the American Airlines maintenance plant at 11:15 a.m. at an invitation only event. His stop is part of a four-state, westward tour of swing states on his way to delivering the acceptance speech Thursday night. American Airlines recently announced that its overhaul base in Kansas City could see up to 600 jobs cut. Obama's campaign says the candidate will discuss his plan to bring economic relief to middle-class families.
