Pepper & Friends is central Missouri's only weekday local variety-talk show. A typical day's show might have interviews with medical specialists, a cooking demonstration, antiquities and collectibles, animals from the Central Missouri Humane Society, songs from a seven-piece band, news headlines, an in-studio birthday party with daycare, weather and live commercials. Hosted by thirty plus year veteran of KOMU Paul Pepper and co-hosted by "Uncle" James Mouser, the show is now in its 27th year as a mid-Missouri staple.
