CREVE COEUR - Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder will hold an election watch party at the Drury Inn in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Kinder is running for a third term as Lieutenant Governor. He was first elected in 2004 and re-elected in 2008, carrying 102 of Missouri's 114 counties.

Prior to being Lieutenant Governor, Kinder served 12 years in the Missouri Senate. In 2001, Kinder was elected President Pro Tem. He was the first Republican to hold that position in 53 years.

Republicans challenging Kinder are Charles Kullman, Brad Lager and Mike Carter.

Democrats running for Lieutenant Governor are Susan Montee, Dennis Weisenburger, Fred Kratky, Becky Plattner, Judy Baker, Sara Lampe, Jacie Townes McGee, and Bill Haas.
