Callaway County Crews Expect to Complete Plowing Efforts
CALLAWAY COUNTY - Callaway County officials said snow removal efforts should be completed by Wednesday afternoon. The county has 13 trucks and 11 road graders all working on about 820 miles of the Callaway County road system.
Callaway County Highway Administrator Paul Winkleman said they will continue to plow the roads in case the wind picks up and blows snow on county roads. Winkleman said snow drifts typically occur in the county areas north of Interstate 70.
County Commissioner Doc Kritzer said Wednesday that residents can call "Road Busters" to report any areas that need additional plowing at 573-642-0740.
