FULTON - The Churchill Museum's Education Department organized a homeschool day on Wednesday. Families could visit the museum and children could participate in educative and hands-on activities throughout the facility.

The activities were dedicated to all ages, from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade. Museum Education and Public Programs Coordinator Mandy Plybon said about one hundred people from all over Missouri visited the museum on Wednesday for the program.

"It ranges from looking at objects in our exhibitions and talking about what shapes objects are made out of, to learning about leadership skills from Mr. Churchill and looking at his artworks and paintings," Plybon said.

Plybon said Churchill Museum will host another major event at the end of the month with the 14th Annual Missouri Watercolor International Show running until May.
