Columbia Police Identify Suspect in Kaldi's Coffee Robbery
COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department issued a warrant for a suspect in the Oct. 4 robbery of Kaldi's Coffee House on Ninth Street.
Columbia police identified the suspect as 47-year-old Anthony Paine of Fulton.
Paine faces charges of first degree robbery and armed criminal action. A judge set his bond at $300,000.
Columbia police responded to an armed robbery report at Kaldi's Coffeehouse early Oct. 4.
The employees said the suspect came in through the back entrance at about 5:30 a.m., pointed a hand gun at the employees and demanded money.
The suspect took off with the undisclosed amount of money, but no one was injured.
