WASHINGTON - Morgan Foods Inc., an Austin Ind., establishment recalled approximately 94,850 pounds of corn chowder soup products that may contain foreign materials, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

One of the products subject to recall includes the "Chef's Cupboard Chunky Chicken Corn Chowder." It was distributed to retail stores in Missouri. Four other products distributed to various states are recalled as well.

The problem was identified when the company received two consumer complaints about finding pieces of a market pen in the product. FSIS and the company said they have not received any reports of injury or illness at the time.
