Distracted driving leads to vehicle rolling over on I-70
COLUMBIA - No serious injuries occurred when a vehicle rolled over on I-70 in Columbia Wednesday evening.
The Columbia Fire Department said a 1999 Ford Explorer was heading westbound past Stadium Boulevard when it turned on its side and rolled.
The driver said weather was not a major factor, but he was changing lanes and switching CDs in his stereo when he lost control.
A tow truck took the vehicle away, and the driver sustained nothing more than a scrape on his elbow.
