Fr. Tolton Catholic High School Holds First Graduation Ceremony
COLUMBIA - Father Tolton Catholic High School held its first graduation ceremony on Friday.
Seventeen students were a part of the inaugural class. More than 150 friends, family, and loved ones were in attendance as the students received their high school diplomas.
Paula McMurty, a mother of two Tolton Catholic students, said she was proud and excited for this day to finally arrive.
"I'm happy, it's very sunny, it's a great day, were gonna shoot off fireworks, were going to have a good time today," McMurty said.
The high school opened in the fall of 2011, allowing 9th and 10th graders to enroll. It took a couple of years, but three years later Tolton Catholic finally has its first graduating class.
