Luetkemeyer Tours Columbia Career Center
COLUMBIA - U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Missouri) visited the Career Center on Friday to tour the facilities and discuss job growth. The Career Center matches workers with job listings and provides basic training to help make unemployed workers better qualified.
On the tour, Luetkemeyer learned about programs the Career Center uses to help match candidates with jobs.
"The people here are on the cutting edge in the center and in the state," Luetkemeyer said.
Luetkemeyer said the Columbia office is ranked second in the nation in terms of matching unemployed workers with jobs.
