Missouri High School Wrestling State Semifinals
COLUMBIA -- There were multiple mid-Missouri wrestlers in action tonight at Mizzou Arena fighting for their shot at a State title. Here are some results from tonight's matches.
At 120 pounds, Blair Oaks' Cole Kemna won 5-3 in overtime. He'll face Centralia's Marcus Schmidt, who won 9-4, in the Class 1 finals.
At 113, Father Tolton Catholic's Jaydin Clayton won by tech fall over Stanberry's Brian Novle and will move on to the finals.
At 170, Blair Oaks' Craig Clark won by major decision to move on to the Class 1 finals
Centralia's Class 1 Mitch Schmidt and Blair Oaks' Logan Mudd both lost.
In the Class 2 finals, it will be Fulton's 145 Zach McClure and 126 Cody Pae moving on as they both were able to take down their opponents. McClure got a last-second takedown and won 4-3.
Moberly's Trey Smith, who weighed in at 152 pounds, won by major decision 13-0 over Toney Clinesmith to move on to the Class 3 finals.
At 126, Jefferson City's Cole Baumgartner held on to win 5-0 and will move on to the Class 4 finals.
Also in Class 4, Rock Bridge's Sam Crane won 8-5 and will be in the finals, weighing in at 132.
Mexico's Monterio Burton was taken down by Odessa's Josh Thompson with six seconds left. Thompson won 3-1.
At 120 pounds, Jefferson City's Hunter Neighbors won by decision over Park Hill's Hunter Roberts.
Jared Johnson of Jefferson City was able to move on to the 195 Class 4 finals as he won by injury default over Blue Springs' Kyle Brown.
At 220, Hickman's J'den Cox won by pin over William Chrisman's Danny Klick to move on to the Class 4 finals.
